Andrés de León brings over 30 years of international leadership experience in the energy, infrastructure, and industrial manufacturing sectors. As former CEO of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT), he led the company through a period of strategic transformation — from a visionary startup to a global technology licensing platform developing next-generation transport systems in partnership with governments and industry leaders worldwide.

Prior to HyperloopTT, Andrés held senior executive positions across the renewable energy and industrial manufacturing value chains, driving the design, construction, and operation of factories in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. He has successfully managed large-scale expansions, M&A transactions, and complex financing structures for industrial projects all around the world.

A law graduate with an MBA from IE Business School, Andrés combines a strategic corporate mindset with hands-on industrial execution. He is recognised for his ability to bridge technology, finance, and policy to build scalable solutions for a more sustainable and connected world.
