☀️ 43.2 GW of solar was added across the U.S. last year, accounting for 54% of all new U.S. generating capacity

☀️ H1 2026 has continued that momentum, with 61% growth in utility-scale solar (Q2 2026 vs. Q2 2025)

We expect solar to keep a dominant share of new U.S. generating capacity, with a symbiotic relationship to the fast-growing storage market reinforcing that position as data center, electrification and industrial demand continue to build through the rest of the decade.
